Proudly announcing the OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP) for 2023, OWWA operates under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) umbrella.
It is a dedicated organization ensuring the well-being of overseas Filipino workers and their families. Initially known as the Welfare and Training Fund for Overseas Workers, it was established in 1977.
With a presence in 31 locations across 27 countries, where numerous OFWs are employed, OWWA also maintains offices in all seventeen regions of the Philippines.

2023 OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP)
Benefits of the 2023 OFW dependent scholarship program (ODSP)
- A scholarship program that offers financial assistance amounting to Php 20,000.00 per school year to qualified dependents of OFWs who receive a monthly salary of not more than US $600.00
Qualifications for the 2023 OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP)
A child of an active OWWA member or a sibling of a single active OWWA member who is:
- Incoming Freshmen (1st year college)
- Single
- Grade 11 graduate (Incoming Grade 12 / currently enrolled as Grade 12)
- Not more than 21 years old
- With a passing grade
- For those who are already enrolled in 2nd year to 5th year in college
- Single
- Not more than 30 years old
- With a passing grade
Note: Applicant is not a recipient of any OWWA or other scholarship grant

How to apply for the 2023 OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP)
- Visit the OWWA Regional Welfare Office that covers the permanent address of the OFW.
- Get queuing number or queue in the line for ODSP scholarship application
- Obtain Notice of Award and Schedule of Scholarship Orientation
- Attend Scholarship Orientation and Facilitate Notarization of Scholarship Agreement
