Benefits of the 2024 Young Leaders’ Program

Scholars may enjoy a scholarship package that includes the following:

  1. Monthly Allowance: JPY 242,000: Php 94,380.
  2. Traveling Costs: Travelling to and from Japan
  3. Education Fees- (Entrance examination, enrollment, and tuition)
  4. Accommodations- (Arranged and provided by respective universities)

Qualification for the 2024 Young Leaders’ Program

To qualify for the program, interested applicants must be:

  • A Filipino citizen
  • A Bachelor’s degree holder with excellent academic records
  • Highly proficient in English
  • Under 40 years old
  • Employed with at least 2-5 years of work experience (varies depending on the course)

How to Apply

All YLP applications must be coursed through the specific recommending authorities for each course.

The deadline of application submissions will depend on each recommending authority.

Please direct all application inquiries to the recommending authority.

  • To obtain information about the host university, please access the URL listed in the APPLICATION GUIDELINES .
  • All application documents must be submitted to the corresponding Recommending authorities. For courses with more than one recommending authority, applicants must choose only one (1) recommending authority to submit their documents to.
  • For the certificate of health, the health tests can be done in any medical institution. Please make sure that the certificate is completely filled-up before submitting your application.
  • For recommendation letters, letters with a wet signature are highly appreciated. Scanned letters or those with an e-signature have to be notarized or certified as true copies.
