The Municipality of Sta. Lucia, Ilocos Sur, opens the Sta. Lucia Scholarship Program to support students entering 1st or 2nd year college. Students enrolled in any four-year course with good grades. Accordingly, twenty (20) slots are funded under the GAD Fund, and an additional twenty (20) slots are sponsored by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Joseph Simon B. Valdez. The program provides financial assistance to help students continue their studies.

Note: There is no specific priority courses indicated, so all students incoming 1st year and 2nd year taking any four-year course can take the chance to apply.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Sta. Lucia Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Must be a bona fide resident of Sta. Lucia, Ilocos Sur.
2. Must be an incoming 1st Year or 2nd Year college student.
3. Must be enrolled in any four-year degree program.
4. For incoming 1st Year college students – must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90%.
5. For 2nd Year college students – must have a GWA of 88% to 90% or at least 1.75.
6. Must not be a recipient of any existing scholarship.
