About the Gold Eagle College Scholarship Grant:

For the Academic Year 2024-2025, the Gold Eagle College Scholarship Grant is available to incoming 1st-year college students enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) courses at Insular Foundation’s six partner schools.

This scholarship aims to support bright and deserving students who need financial assistance, providing them access to quality education that can enhance their lives, benefit their families, and contribute to the country’s development.

Qualifications:

The Insular Foundation Scholarship supports students studying STEM at partner schools. To apply, applicants must be:

  • Must be a bona fide student at Insular Foundation’s partner schools, enrolled in any of the STEM courses identified for each school.
  • Must be an incoming 1st-year college student and have passed the partner school’s admission test.
  • Must have a general weighted average (GWA) of 85% in Grade 11 and Grade 12 up to the first term or second grading period.
  • Must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant.
  • Must demonstrate financial need (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P500,000.00 for UP Diliman and must not exceed P250,000.00 for provincial SUCs).
  • Must not have been liable for any disciplinary action worse than a five-day class suspension in Senior High School.
  • Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship grant for the duration of the Insular Foundation scholarship grant.

Benefits:

Below are the benefits of the Gold Eagle College STEM Scholarship, supporting scholars with essential resources for their education and career development:

Financial Assistance:

  • Each scholar will receive financial assistance every semester. This assistance covers stipends, transportation, and book allowances.

Graduation Incentives:

  • Scholars who graduate with honors will receive cash incentives from the Insular Foundation as recognition of their academic achievement.

Access to Network and Programs:

  • Gold Eagle scholars and alumni will gain access to Insular Foundation’s extensive network. They will also have opportunities to participate in leadership training and other capacity-building programs offered by the foundation.

Requirements:

To apply for the Gold Eagle College STEM Scholarship, you need to submit the following:

  • Duly Accomplished Application Form
  • 2×2 photo with a white background
  • Certified True Copy of Grade 11 and Grade 12 Report Card with General Weighted Average (GWA). For Grade 12, include grades up to the first term or second grading period at minimum.
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Certified True Copy of BIR Latest Income Tax Return (ITR). If unavailable, submit a Notarized Affidavit of Source of Income. (Note: Both parents, legal guardian (if applicable), and working siblings must provide an ITR or notarized affidavit.)

  • Certified True Copy of Certificate of Registration/Admission to the university/college

Application Deadline:

The application deadline for the Gold Eagle College STEM Scholarship in 2024 is as follows:

  • September 10, 2024: Deadline for submission of applications
  • November-December 2024: Announcement of Newly Admitted Scholars and Scholar Onboarding

The Gold Eagle College Scholarship Grant partners with several top schools to support education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

  • Eleven (11) students:
    • Two (2) for BS Mathematics
    • Four (4) for BS Statistics
    • Five (5) from any Science, Technology, and Engineering courses

  • Three (3) students for any Science, Technology, and Engineering courses

Benguet State University (BSU)

  • Three (3) students for any Science, Technology, and Engineering courses
