About the NGCP Scholarship Program for USTP-CDO

The NGCP Educate Scholarship Program is an initiative of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) that provides financial support to deserving students.

Through this program, NGCP helps ensure that bright and hardworking students from host communities can complete their education and eventually contribute to nation-building.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be an officially enrolled USTP-CDO student in any year level.
  • Be part of an NGCP host community.
  • Have no failing or incomplete grades from the previous semester.
  • Have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80% (or equivalent grading scale).

Benefits

Qualified scholars will receive financial assistance to cover school-related expenses. This program aims to ease the financial burden of education while allowing students to focus more on their academic performance.

Application Process

All interested applicants must prepare the required documents and submit their application through PRISMS (USTP’s official portal). Applications without complete requirements will not be processed.

Application Deadline and Schedule

The deadline for submission of applications is September 12, 2025.

Requirements

Applicants should prepare the following:

  1. Duly accomplished application form.
  2. Copy of grades from Grades 11 & 12 (SHS report card).
  3. Income Tax Return (ITR) or Barangay Certificate of Indigency.
  4. Certificate of Good Moral Character issued by the school.
  5. Certificate of Registration (downloaded from PRISMS).
  6. 2×2 ID photo (white background).

Step 1. Prepare scanned copies of the required documents.

Step 2. Log in to your PRISMS account.

Step 3. Go to the Request Module and click Scholarship.

Step 4. Click Add Request and take note of the deadline.

Step 5. From the drop-down list, choose NGCP as your scholarship sponsor and upload the required files. Review your application form carefully before clicking Submit.

Step 6. Wait for notification from the Scholarship Unit via email.
