About the NGCP Scholarship for PUP 2025–2026

The NGCP Scholarship Program aims to provide financial aid to deserving students in host communities of NGCP’s transmission lines and facilities.

At PUP, the program is specifically open to BS Electrical Engineering or any Engineering course students who meet the qualifications.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

1. Be an enrolled 2nd year student in BS Electrical Engineering or any Engineering course.
2. Be a resident of an NGCP host community.
3. Maintain a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 2.00.
4. Carry the regular academic load prescribed by the curriculum.
5. Have no failing grade (5.0), INC, Dropped, or Withdrawn final grade.
6. Belong to a family with a joint annual income not exceeding ₱300,000.00.
7. Not be a working student.
8. Be of good moral character.
9. Not be a recipient of any other scholarship.

Benefits

Successful NGCP PUP Scholars will receive:

• ₱25,000.00 stipend
• ₱3,000.00 academic fee allowance
• ₱5,000.00 book allowance
  ➡️ A total of ₱33,000.00 per semester

Application Process

Applicants must complete the online application form and submit the required documents.

Shortlisted students will undergo a face-to-face interview at the Office of Scholarship and Financial Assistance, located in Room W119, PUP campus.

1. Copy of grades (screenshot from SIS is accepted).
2. Current Registration Card.
3. Parent’s or Guardian’s Income Tax Return (ITR), or a Barangay Certificate of Indigency/Certificate of Non-Payment of ITR (with permanent address).
4. Personal Data Sheet or Application Form.
