About Tagum Cooperative Academic Scholarship:

The Tagum Cooperative Academic Scholarship will select 10 qualified scholars who meet the eligibility requirements and demonstrate the potential for academic success. These scholars will receive financial assistance to support their higher education journey, enabling them to achieve their academic goals and contribute to the community in the future.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for the Tagum Cooperative Academic Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a child or declared dependent of a Tagum Cooperative member
  • Must be a Senior High School graduate or an incoming 1st year college student
  • Must possess good moral character
  • Must have an average grade of 85% or above
  • No dropped subjects
  • No “No Grade” (N.G.) in any subject
  • No grade below 85% in any subject
  • Parents’ annual gross income must not exceed ₱240,000.00

The Tagum Cooperative Academic Scholarship gives priority to the following courses for its educational support.

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in:
    • Business Economics
    • Marketing Management
    • Financial Management
    • Human Resource
  • Bachelor of Arts in English
  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management
  • Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Systems
  • Bachelor of Science in Social Work

  • Duly accomplished Scholarship Application Form

  • Photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • One (1) recent 2×2 ID picture
  • Valid ID
  • Barangay Certificate stating that the applicant:
    • Is a resident of the barangay, and
    • Has no derogatory records
  • Certificate of Low Income or Form 2316 (Income Tax Return of Parents)
  • Must pass the qualifying exam
