About AMLIG Scholarship Program:

The AMLIG Scholarship Program or (Accelerating the Mission of Learning and Inclusive Growth) supports students from select LGUs in the Province of Negros Occidental by providing financial assistance for their education.

Application Process:

End Date/Deadline: March 31, 2025

Important Notes:

• Only one (1) application per applicant is allowed.
• Duplicate applications will result in disqualification.

Application Requirements:

Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents to qualify for the AMLIG Scholarship Program:

1. Completed NU Quest Application
2. Original PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate
3. Recent 2×2 Photo
   • White background required
4. Proof of Family Income (Annual income must not exceed ₱360,000)
   • Latest Tax Exemption Certificate or Income Tax Return (ITR) of both parents
   • If unemployed, Certificate of Indigency from the barangay
5. Barangay Certificate of Residency
   • Required if submitting an ITR
   • Not needed if a Certificate of Indigency is provided
6. Two (2) Recommendation Letters (with a photocopy of the recommender’s valid ID)
   • First Letter: From the Adviser, certifying that the applicant has no grades below 85 until graduation
   • Second Letter: From the Principal, Assistant Principal, or SHS Coordinator
7. Grade 12 Report Card
   • No grade lower than 85 in any subject from 1st to 4th Quarter
   • General Average (GPA) of 85 or higher
8. Personal Statement
   • Must include the applicant’s picture in the upper right corner

Step-by-step: How to apply

Follow these steps to complete your AMLIG Scholarship application:

Step 1: Document Screening

• Screening will be conducted online only.
• Ensure all required documents are clear, converted to PDF format, and uploaded correctly before submission.

Step 2: Application Registration

• Register and submit your application through NU Quest from March 13 to 31, 2025.
• Access the registration portal here: NU Quest Online Application

Step 3: Examination Notice

• After the application period, qualified applicants will receive an email with details about the examination date.

Step 4: Hard Copy Submission

• If selected for the examination, applicants must bring hard copies of all required documents.

Step 5: Document Packaging

• All documents must be placed inside a long brown envelope and submitted on the day of the exam.
