• Filipino of good moral character to be supported by a letter of recommendation from the school last attended.
• Come from an indigent family with an annual net family income not exceeding ₱150,000.
• Have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 85% or higher with no grade below 80%.
• Pass medical, dental, physical, and psychological examinations.
• Not be a recipient of any other scholarship or study grant from other benefactors (except for Free Higher Education privilege).

Benefits

Successful DBP INSPIRE Scholars will receive:

• Application letter addressed to the University President (expressing willingness to follow DBP policies).
• Duly accomplished DBP Scholarship Application Form.
• Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or any valid proof of family income.
• PSA/Local Civil Registry Birth Certificate.
• Enrollment Form/Study Load (photocopy).
• School Card/Form 138 (with final grades).
• NCIP Certification (for Indigenous Peoples applicants).
• Two (2) copies of 2×2 ID photos.
