    Dear Ma’am and Sir,

Good day Ma’am and Sir . I am writing to express my sincere interest in being considered for the scholarship, despite my current academic standing.

I understand that my grades may not meet the typical criteria for this scholarship. However, I wanted to provide some context for my situation. Last month, my grandmother suffered a stroke, and I have been her primary caregiver since then. With my aunts and uncles busy trying to find money for her medication and hospital bills, I have taken on the responsibility of caring for her. We are a low-income family, and we cannot afford to hire a caregiver for her.

Due to these circumstances, I have not been able to devote as much time to my studies as I would have liked. Despite this, I am determined to improve my academic performance. If granted the scholarship, I promise to dedicate myself to my studies and make the most of this opportunity.

I am aware of the importance of education in achieving my goals, and I am committed to overcoming any challenges that come my way. I hope you will consider my application favorably. Thank you for considering my request.

    Sincerely,
    Allaisa Layma
