If you have earned any college or technical/vocational units, you cannot apply to this scholarship
🤔Q4. I intend to take BS Nursing / BS Criminology. Can I apply?
💡A4. No. The course you intend to enroll in is not among the priority S&T courses of the DOST-SEI Scholarship Programs.
Please check out our list of S&T priority programs and schools that satisfy our study placement requirements for the particular S&T priority programs. If you will be pursuing a program not listed in our approved programs, you need not apply to this scholarship.
🤔Q5. Can I go to your Office to get/file the application form?
💡A5. Face-to-face transaction is discouraged unless very necessary. Application to the scholarship is done through the 2025 DOST-SEI Undergraduate E-Scholarships Application System at https://science-scholarships.ph/. Please read and understand the landing page of the E-Application System so you will be properly guided.
🤔Q6. My school is not among the available options for the Name of School provided in the system, what should I do?
💡A6. When selecting a school, you need to select first the School Region, then the Province, and the Municipality where your school is located. This is to narrow down the options of schools the system will provide you.
If your school is not among the options, you need to send a request to our staff located in your school region by sending us an email containing the following:
- Complete School Name
- Complete School Address: (Street, Barangay, Municipality, Province)
- Name of School Registrar
- School Contact Information
- School Email Address
Email this information to the proper email address indicated below for your school region:
After your request has been received, our staff will update you when your school has been added in the System so you can continue with your application.
Please note that we will only accept requests until November 15, 2024.
🤔Q7. I have registered in the E-Application but have not yet received a verification email, what could be the problem?
💡A7. Check your Spam folder first. If the email is not in there, you may have encoded a wrong or misspelled email address. It is also possible that your inbox is already full and cannot accept new email messages. If this is the case, kindly encode your full name, birthday, and correct email address (that can still accept new email messages) in this link: https://forms.gle/vESePzXkav28DY4y7
🤔Q8. I forgot to take note of my Application ID, how do I get it?
💡A8. You can find your Application ID by opening the link that was sent to the email address you used when you registered in the online system. Go to that link, input your birthday then you will be able to get your Application ID. Take note of it. You need your Application ID to be able to sign in to the system to access your application form.
🤔Q9. What happens if I answer incorrectly in the Eligibility Check, can I still do something about it?
💡A9. Before submitting your answers in the Eligibility Check, the system urged you to check your answers before pressing the Submit button as you can no longer change your answers once you submit them. The system also asks you to certify as to the truthfulness of the answers you provide. Because of this, once your answers have been evaluated and found to have not pass the eligibility check, you will be disqualified to the scholarship and can no longer apply.
🤔Q10. My parents are my legal guardian. I am already of legal age. Do I need to fill-out the Legal Guardian portion of the system?
💡A10. You only need to have a legal guardian if you are not living together with your parents. Your legal guardian must be of legal age.
Even if you are of legal age, it is required that your parent or legal guardian be identified in the E-Application and sign in some of the required forms. Your parent/legal guardian has obligation in the scholarship award should you qualify as a scholar.
You also need to indicate a Legal Guardian in the system as well as upload a Notarized Affidavit of Guardianship if your Scholarship Forms G, H, I, and J will be signed by a person identified as NOT your parent/spouse.
🤔Q11. I grew up not knowing who my father/mother is. The system requires me to provide this information. How will I proceed?
💡A11. In the Civil Status/Remarks component of the system, you can select Unknown or Deceased, depending on your situation. These options do not require detail about the parent.
🤔Q12. How do I submit my application requirements?
💡A12. In Step 3 (Uploading of Documentary Requirements) of the E-Scholarship Application System, you will be prompted on the documents you need to submit to complete your application. You can download them here , accomplish these forms, have these signed by concerned authorities, then scan and upload them in the system. Make sure you have uploaded complete forms to be considered an applicant for the scholarship.
Since we already transitioned to the online system, applicants need not submit the hard copy of their application forms. But we encourage you to hold on to the hard copy of the documents as we may request you to submit these later for validation.
🤔Q13. I may have inputted wrong information while filling out the application form (Step 3). Can I still correct it?
💡A13. You can still correct the information provided you have not pressed the Submit button at the end of the E-Scholarship Application System. You may sign in again to your account using your Application ID, email address, and birthday. It is recommended that you REVIEW all information you provided as to its completeness, correctness, and truthfulness before finally submitting your application. Make sure that you complete and submit your application on or before the set deadline.

💡A14. The system evaluates the applicable scholarship program for you based on the information you provide in your application.
🤔Q15. Will digitized signatures be acceptable in Form C up to Form I of the DOST-SEI Scholarship Application Form?
💡A15. We allow the submission of required forms with digitized signatures of the authorized signatories. However, you will still be required to provide authenticated copies of the forms should you qualify for the scholarship.
🤔Q16. The system requires me to submit my father’s 2023 Income Tax Return but I don’t have it. Can I submit a different requirement instead?
💡A16. The system provides options for the proof of income that can be submitted depending on the class of worker of your parent/legal guardian. The options are separated by a slash (/). You only need to submit one of those options for your parent/legal guardian.
🤔Q17. I still lack requirements; can I submit my application?
💡A17. No. The E-Application System will not accept your application if your requirements are incomplete.
Please note that willfully submitting incorrect/incomplete requirements is ground for your disqualification to the scholarship.
🤔Q18. I have successfully submitted my application. Can I go back to my application form just so I can check the information I inputted, and change it when necessary?
💡A18. Unfortunately, you can no longer make changes in your application form and uploaded documents once you have done the following actions:
- Clicked the “SUBMIT MY APPLICATION” button
- Gave your consent by clicking the “I AGREE” button when the Terms and Conditions of the online scholarship is presented
It is very important that you REVIEW all information you provided and the documents you uploaded as to its completeness, correctness, and truthfulness before finally submitting your application.
🤔Q19. I have submitted my application. What will I do next?
💡A19. Check if you have received an email confirming receipt of your application. If none, check your spam folder. It is also possible that your inbox is already full and cannot accept new email messages.
If you have not received a confirmatory email, encode your application ID, full name, birthday, and email address (that can still accept new email messages) in this form: https://forms.gle/p68hz8LoMVDAuYcy6
We will check our system and notify you of the results of our evaluation.
