About LandBank: Iskolar ng LANDBANK Program
Established on August 8, 1963, under Republic Act 3844 (Agricultural Land Reform Code), the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) is a government owned financial institution tasked with promoting countryside development while maintaining financial viability.
It operates as a specialized government bank with a universal banking license, serving the needs of farmers and fishermen.
Iskolar ng LANDBANK Program:
The Iskolar ng LANDBANK Program, implemented since 2023, is a scholarship initiative of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) aimed at supporting economically disadvantaged yet deserving students.
Specifically, the program targets children or grandchildren of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs), small farmers, and fishers.

The Iskolar ng LANDBANK Program is administered by the LCDFI – LANDBANK Countryside Development Foundation Inc.

Qualifications:
Applicants must generally meet the following qualifications:
- A Filipino citizen
- An incoming or first-year college student for Academic Year 2026–2027
- A child or grandchild of an Agrarian Reform Beneficiary, small farmer, or fisher
- Has a general average of at least 90% or belongs to the top 10% of the Senior High School graduating class
- Is not currently receiving another scholarship, educational grant, or financial assistance
- Belongs to a family with an annual gross income of ₱300,000 or below
- Is admitted to or enrolled in an eligible degree program at a participating university
- Meets the residency or provincial requirement imposed by the participating school
Applicants may also be required to provide proof that their parent or grandparent is registered under the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture, or RSBSA. Current MSU-IIT application materials carry the same core academic, income, sectoral, and scholarship restrictions.

For example, participating schools may limit applications to residents of a particular province or to students enrolled in specific degree programs available at their campus.

Requirements:
Applicants may be required to submit the following documents:
- Duly accomplished Iskolar ng LANDBANK application form
- Certified true copy of Senior High School grades, Form 137, or Grade 11 and Grade 12 report cards
- Letter of recommendation from the applicant’s Senior High School principal
- Original or certified copy of the PSA-issued birth certificate
- Proof of registration under the RSBSA
- Certification from the Municipal Agriculture Office, Municipal Agrarian Reform Office, Department of Agriculture, or Department of Agrarian Reform, when applicable
- Latest Income Tax Return of the applicant’s parents
- BIR Certificate of Tax Exemption or Certificate of Indigency, when applicable
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Barangay clearance or barangay certificate
- Medical certificate
- Certification that the applicant is not receiving another scholarship
- Signed data privacy or consent form
- Endorsement from a cooperative, organization, partner university, or government agency, when required
Video Requirement
Some participating schools also require a pre-recorded video of no more than three minutes.
Applicants may be asked to introduce themselves and answer questions such as:
- Why are you pursuing your chosen degree program?
- How do you see yourself contributing to nation-building?
The submission method for the video may vary. It may be uploaded through a Google Form, emailed to the program administrator, or submitted directly to the university scholarship office.
Reminder: Do not retain the old 500-word essay requirement as the main application instruction. Current 2026 school announcements are using a short recorded video, although individual schools may request additional documents.
