Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be an incoming 1st year student or an ongoing college student (with a strong preference for incoming 2nd year students).

• Students scheduled to graduate in Academic Year 2024-2025 are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

2. Enrollment Criteria:

• Must be enrolled or intend to enroll in a teacher education institution (TEI) with a LET (Licensure Examination for Teachers) performance above the national average.
• Must have no failed, dropped, or incomplete grades in the previous academic year.
• For senior high school applicants, academic records from Grades 11 and 12 will be evaluated.

3. Academic Performance:

• Must have a general weighted average (GWA) of at least 85% or its equivalent from the previous academic year.
• For senior high school applicants, GWA from Grade 11 will be evaluated.

4. Extracurricular and Community Involvement:

• Should demonstrate involvement in extracurricular or community activities.

5. Post-Graduation Commitment:

• Must be willing to teach in a public school in their community after graduation.

6. Character and Conduct:

• Must be of good moral standing and have no existing disciplinary cases.

7. Financial Need:

• Must be in need of financial support to complete studies.
• Preferably not a recipient of other scholarships.

8. Health Requirement:
