About Iskolar ni Juan Tech-Voc Scholarship

The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) at Universal Robina Corporation (URC) offers fully subsidized technical vocational scholarships for senior high school graduates and college undergraduates interested in industrial machine operation. 

Similarly, Iskolar ni Juan provides fully subsidized scholarships covering various expenses for underprivileged senior high school graduates and college undergraduates aged between 18 and 28 years old.

Scholars under both programs undergo a seven-month academic term at the GBF Technical Training Center in Calamba City, Laguna, followed by a five-month on-the-job training at URC plants and other affiliated businesses. 

Upon completion of the program, scholars earn a TESDA National Certificate Level II (NC II) in either mechatronics servicing or instrumentation and control servicing, qualifying them for employment as production/machine operators or machine maintenance technicians at URC.

Eligibility Criteria: 

To qualify for the Iskolar ni Juan Tech-Voc Scholarship 2024, it’s crucial to meet specific criteria. These criteria ensure that the scholarship reaches those who can benefit most from it.

• Filipino Citizen
• Single, aged 18-28 years old
• At least a senior high school graduate
• No grade lower than 80% in Mathematics and Science
• From a family with an annual income of not more than Php200,000
