About Iskolar Sang Iloilo Program (ISIP):

The Iskolar Sang Iloilo Program (ISIP) is a college scholarship offered by the Iloilo Provincial Government.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the Iskolar Sang Iloilo Program (ISIP) scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Incoming 1st year college students with a Senior High School General Weighted Average (GWA) of 90% and above.
2. Applicant’s annual gross family income is not more than P180,000.00.
3. Bonafide residents of the Province of Iloilo.
4. Applicant must have good moral standing in the community.
5. Applicant plans to be enrolled in any state universities/colleges in Iloilo.

  • Indigency Certificate issued by MSWDO certifying that the applicant is an Indigent
  • Income Tax Return

Step 8: Parents or Legal Guardian Information

Provide details about your parents or legal guardians:

• Mother’s Name

• Father’s Name

• Legal Guardian (if applicable)

• Work/Occupation

• Highest Educational Attainment

• Number of Siblings

• Number of Household Members living in the same house

• Birth Order in the Family then proceed next step

Step 9: Family Socio-Economic Data

Provide the following socio-economic information:

• Who is/are earning income for the family

• Source of Family Income (e.g., salary/wages, etc.)

• Gross Monthly Income in Philippine PESO (to be verified against proof of income)

• House Ownership Status

• Lot Ownership Status

• Farmland Ownership Status

Add N/A for “others” but if applicable then indicate it

• Appliances owned and quantity per unit (e.g., TV, etc.)

• Specify number of Units then proceed next

Step 10: Requirements (Upload in PDF/JPEG/PNG format)

Upload the following required documents with the specified file names:

• Form 138 (Senior High School)

• Certificate of Indigency or Latest Income Tax Return or Certificate of Tax Exemption

Applicants must plan to enroll in any of the partner state universities and colleges in Iloilo, namely:

• West Visayas State University
• Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U)
• Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST)
• Northern Iloilo State University (NISU)
• Passi City College

Scholar Allocation

A total of 125 scholars will be selected, with 25 slots allocated per district.

Benefits:

Here are the benefits and incentives provided to scholars under the Iskolar Sang Iloilo Program (ISIP):

Each scholar will receive:

• Monthly stipend: P3,500
• Learning resource assistance: P3,000 per semester
• On-the-job training allowance: P20 per hour
• Thesis/research assistance: P5,000 for graduating students

Cash incentives are also provided based on academic achievement:

• P1,000 for all graduates
• P7,000 for Summa Cum Laude
• P5,000 for Magna Cum Laude
• P3,000 for Cum Laude
