- Deserving but financially challenged students of pharmacy. Additionally, students of other selected courses and dependents of soldiers who are in active service, incapacitated, or have died in the line of duty may be considered for support.
- Gawad Talino awardees recognized for their academic excellence in Mathematics or Science.

Eligibility:
For Deserving but Financially Challenged Pharmacy Students:
To qualify for assistance, you must be:
- A pharmacy student facing financial difficulties
- In your final two years of study at one of MDFI’s partner pharmacy schools
- Maintaining a general weighted average (GWA) of 2.5 (80%) or higher
- Single and aged 23 years or younger
- In good health and possess good moral character
- Not receiving any other scholarship or educational aid
- Not a dependent of an employee of Mercury Drug Corporation, Mercury Group of Companies, or its subsidiaries
For Gawad Talino Awardees:
- Must be a recipient of MDFI’s Gawad Talino Excellence in Mathematics or Science Award
- Must be an incoming college freshman
- Single and aged 21 years or younger
- Must be in good health and possess good moral character
- Not receiving any other scholarships or educational assistance
- Must be enrolled in a state university or government-funded school
- Not a dependent of an employee of Mercury Drug Corporation, Mercury Group of Companies, or its subsidiaries
- Able to maintain a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.75 (90%) or higher.
