About BRIGHTS Scholarship Program
The BRIGHTS Scholarship Program stands for Bridging Gaps in Higher Education Through Tertiary Scholarships. It aims to help students continue their studies by providing financial assistance for college.
The program focuses on academic excellence, community development, and access to higher education for qualified students living in specific areas covered by SN Aboitiz Power Group.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the BRIGHTS Scholarship Program, an applicant must meet all of the following requirements:
- Must be an incoming college freshman
- Must be a bona fide resident of:
- Bokod and Itogon, Benguet
- Alfonso Lista, Ifugao
- Ramon, Isabela
- Must have a general average of at least 90%, based on Senior High School records
- Must be among the Top 10 students of the Senior High School graduating class or strand
- Must be formally admitted to any of the priority degree programs
- Must not be related to any SNAP employee by affinity or consanguinity up to the third degree
- Immediate family members or relatives up to the third degree of current BRIGHTS scholars are not eligible
- Must belong to a low-income household, with a total gross household income not exceeding ₱15,000 per month
Document Requirements
Applicants must prepare and upload the following documents during the online application:
- Residence Certificate from the barangay
- Recent 2×2 photo
- Enrollment Assessment Form or Notice of Admission
- Senior High School Transcript of Records and/or Certificate of Grades
(Grade 11 and Grade 12) - Certification from the School Registrar confirming placement in the Top 10 of the graduating class or strand
- Income tax return of parents or Certificate of Indigency from Municipal Social Worker Development Office (MSWDO) or Barangay
Note:
Only complete application documents and requirements will be processed.

Applicants must be formally admitted to any of the following priority degree programs to qualify for the BRIGHTS Scholarship Program:
- Accounting
- Agriculture and Forestry
- Communications
- Community Development and Development Studies
- Economics
- Education
- Engineering
- Environmental Sciences
- Health Sciences
- Information Technology
- Social Sciences
- Sociology
- Statistics
These courses were selected to support key industries and community development needs. Students enrolled in these programs are expected to contribute their skills and knowledge to nation-building after graduation.

The application period for the BRIGHTS Scholarship Program 2026 is:

- Deadline: June 5, 2026
Late and incomplete applications will not be accepted.
