Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for admission to the PMA Entrance Exam 2024 of Class 2029, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen
- Must be at least 17 years of age and NOT MORE THAN 22 years of age on 01 June of the admission year 2025 (Birthdate shall fall between June 1, 2003 to June 1, 2008)
- Must be at least a Senior High School Graduate (Grade 12)
- Must have at least a Senior High School GPA/GWA of 85%
- Must have a barefoot height of NOT LESS THAN 5’0″ (152.4cm) but not more than 6’4″ (193.04cm) for both male and female
- Must be single and never been married, never borne or sired a child
- Must be of good moral character
- Must have no administrative or criminal case
- Must pass the PMA Entrance Examination
- Must be physically and mentally fit for military training
- Must pass the Complete Physical-Medical Examination by AFP Medical Board Nr 1
- Must pass the Physical Fitness Test and Aptitude for the Service Interview
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Minimum Requirements:
Before admission to the Philippine Military Academy, applicants must meet specific physical fitness standards as part of the PFT.

- Click “Not registered yet? Sign-up instead.”
Note: All new and re-applicants must register new accounts. Old accounts are no longer valid for this recruitment cycle.
Step 3: Complete the Sign-Up Section
- Fill out the sign-up form with your details.
Step 4: Confirm and Sign-Up
- Recheck your information and click the “Sign-up” button.
Note: DO NOT forget your EMAIL and PASSWORD. Use these credentials to log in to your Philippine Military Academy Online Cadet Application System account.
Step 5: Verify and Log In
- If the verification code is valid, you will be automatically logged in to your account. Click the “Personal Information” Tab.
Step 6: Enter Personal Information
- Fill out all required data fields with your correct personal information.
- Fields marked with “*” are mandatory.
- Incorrect information may invalidate your application.
Note: You can change your preferred Exam Site/Center anytime before the application closes on August 1, 2024. Monitor the Philippine Military Academy Facebook Page for updates on Exam Centers.
Step 7: Save Personal Information
- Click “Save Information” at the bottom of the page after filling out all required fields.
Step 8: Complete Educational Background
- After saving the Personal Information, click the “Educational Background” Tab.
- Click the “Add Educational Background” Button.
Step 9: Fill Out Educational Background
- Complete all fields for your educational background.
- Fields marked with “*” are mandatory.
- Incorrect information may invalidate your application.
Note: Add at least your High School credentials. College-level students may add their credentials as applicable.
Step 10: Save Educational Background
- Click the “SAVE” button after filling out all required fields.
Step 11: Upload Requirements
- Click the “Requirements” Tab.
- Upload scanned documents (Form 137/138, Transcript of Records, and PSA birth certificate) by clicking the “Choose File” button. Click “Save” after uploading.
Note: Upload one (1) file for each requirement. All scanned pages must be in one (1) file.
Step 12: Complete the Survey
- Click the “Survey” Tab and answer the questions by selecting from the options in the list. Click “Save Changes” after making your selections.

After clicking “Save Changes,” you will be directed to the Notifications Page to view your Application Progress.
Step 13: Notification
- Once you have completed all sections and submitted your application, monitor your email and the PMA Online Cadet Application System for notifications regarding the status of your application and further instructions.

Application Submission:
The path to becoming a PMA cadet starts with submitting an application to the Office of Cadet Admission (OCA) and taking the Philippine Military Academy Cadet Qualification Test (PMACQT).
Test Permit and Examination:
After receiving the Test Permit, applicants report to the designated Examination Center on the specified date.
Complete Physical Examination (CPE):
Successful candidates proceed to the AFP Medical Center (AFPMC) for the Complete Physical Examination (CPE) to assess their medical, physical, mental, and emotional readiness for military training. Candidates must stay in provided billeting areas during the CPE.
Final Processing:
Final processing occurs at the PMA Liaison Office in AFPMC before the academic year begins.
Important Note:
- Applicants who pass the PMAEE will be notified by the Office of Cadet Admission (OCA) through mail, newspapers, and website announcements.
- They must report to AFP Medical Center for medical, dental, and neuropsychiatric examinations.
