About Project Lawin Scholarship:

This fully funded scholarship, Project Lawin Scholarship, administered by the National Teachers College, allows Filipino citizens to pursue a Master’s Degree in either Guidance and Counseling or Special Education.

For this academic year, one scholarship will be awarded for each program: one for Guidance and Counseling and one for Special Education.

The goal of the Project Lawin Scholarships is to develop a dedicated and skilled cohort of professionals who will serve in the public school system, offering expert care and support to students in need.

Each Master’s program is designed to be completed over 2 academic years.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants for the Project Lawin Scholarship must fulfill the following requirements:

A professional teaching license is required.
Must hold a bachelor’s degree in education or allied fields such as psychology, social work, nursing, and others.
A GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or its equivalent upon completion of the bachelor’s degree is necessary.
Must demonstrate financial need with sufficient proof.
A commitment to serve in a Philippine public school for a minimum of 3 years after completing the master’s degree is essential.

The Project Lawin Scholarship Program offers full funding for the following Master’s Degree programs at the National Teachers College in Manila, NCR:

Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling
Master of Arts in Education, Major in Special Education

All files to be upload must be Max (10MB)

1. Diploma / Certificate of Graduation

Upload: Attach a PDF or image file of your diploma or certificate of graduation. Ensure the file is clear and legible.

2. PRC ID: Licensed Professional Teacher

Upload: Attach a PDF or image file of your Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID. Ensure the ID is valid and clearly visible.

3. Signed Commitment Letter

Upload: Attach a PDF or image file of a signed commitment letter stating your agreement to work in a Philippine public school upon completion of your Master’s degree.

4. Adequate Proof of Need for Financial Support

Upload: Attach up to 10 files (PDF or image) that demonstrate your need for financial support. Ensure that documents are clear and comprehensive.

5. One-Page Profile (template)

Upload: Attach a PDF or image file of your completed one-page profile as per the provided template.

6. Application Essay

Upload: Attach up to 5 PDF files of your application essay (1,000 words or less) explaining your reasons for pursuing the Master’s degree and your plans for serving in a public school.

7. Two Recommendation Letters

Upload: Attach up to 5 PDF files of recommendation letters. One letter should be from a former instructor and one from a former or current employer.

8. Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records

Upload: Attach up to 5 PDF or image files of your certified true copy of transcripts covering all academic semesters or school years from undergraduate level.

9. Resume

Upload: Attach a PDF file of your resume summarizing your academic achievements, extra-curricular activities, and employment history.

10. Picture of Government-Issued Identification Document

Upload: Attach a PDF or image file of a valid government-issued ID.

11. Medical Certificate
