    • STEM strand graduates: at least 85% General Weighted Average (GWA)
    • Non-STEM strand graduates: at least 90% GWA
  • Willing to take and pass the BASE or BASE-MERIT Qualifying Examination
  • Must enroll in an Applied Science and Technology course under MOST priority fields

Priority Courses

Scholars must enroll in Applied Science and Technology programs classified under priority Science and Technology fields identified by MOST.

Enrollment is allowed in:

  • State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), or
  • CHED-recognized private higher education institutions with FAAP Level II accreditation

Applicants are strongly encouraged to review the official list of priority courses provided by MOST before applying.

Benefits

Qualified scholars will receive monthly financial assistance depending on the scholarship category:

  • BASE-MERIT Scholars: ₱20,000 per month
  • BASE Scholars: ₱8,000 per month

These allowances are intended to support students’ academic, living, and educational expenses throughout their college studies.

Application Process

The BASE and BASE-MERIT Scholarship Programs follow a strictly online application process. Walk-in or manual submissions are not accepted.

Applicants are given ample time to prepare and upload all required documents. Physical copies will only be required after applicants are declared Potential Qualifiers.

  • Grade 12 Report Card
    • First semester only (for graduating students)
    • First and second semesters (for Grade 12 graduates)

  • Saved and uploaded in PDF format
