ODSP Category 1
- Incoming Freshmen (1st year college):
- Must be a child or sibling of an OFW, with Active OWWA membership (Subject to validation)
- Single and not more than 21 years old
- With a passing general weighted average (GWA)
- Must be enrolled in a Philippine-based College/University
- Must have a monthly OFW income not more than USD $1000 or its equivalent
ODSP Category 2
- Already enrolled in 2nd year to 5th year in college:
- Must be a child or sibling of an OFW, with Active OWWA membership (Subject to validation)
- Single and not more than 30 years old
- With a passing general weighted average (GWA)
- Must be enrolled in a Philippine-based College/University
- Must have a monthly OFW income not more than USD $1000.00 or its equivalent
Initial Requirements:
To apply for the OWWA OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP), make sure you have all the necessary documents listed below to submit:
- OFW’s Valid Passport (Bio or Information Page)
- Copy of Dependent’s School I.D. or any available valid I.D
- Copy of Grades from previous school year
- Any of the following to prove the Dependent’s identity:
- PSA-issued Birth Certificate
- Local Civil Registrar (LCR) Birth Certificate
- Baptismal Certificate
- Any of the following OFW proof of income:
- Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC)
- Pay slip or salary slip from the employer
- Employment Certificate indicating salary/income
- Job contract showing compensation
- Any legitimate and verifiable document indicating OFW income/employment

Application Deadline:

Step 1. Prepare the Complete Documentary Requirements:

- Get a queuing number or queue in line for the ODSP scholarship application.
Step 5. Obtain Notice of Award and Schedule of Scholarship Orientation:
- Collect the Notice of Award and the schedule for the Scholarship Orientation.
Step 6. Attend Scholarship Orientation and Facilitate Notarization:
- Attend the Scholarship Orientation.
- Facilitate the notarization of the Scholarship Agreement.
Step 7. Additional Requirements (if applicable):
- Certificate of Good Moral: Obtain from the school registrar or authorized school officer/faculty (waived due to pandemic).
- Medical Certificate: If required, get this from a competent medical practitioner (waived due to pandemic).
