About Mindanao State University (MSU)
MSU started in 1961 to help with the issues in Mindanao. It was the idea of Senator Domocao Alonto.
It began in Marawi City with just a few students and teachers. Now, it’s a big university with campuses all over Mindanao. It has over 69,000 students and more than 3,100 teachers.
MSU teaches, does research, and helps communities. It’s the only university in charge of bringing people together in the country.
MSU has campuses in different places like Iligan City, Tawi-Tawi, Misamis Oriental, Maguindanao, General Santos, Sulu, and Zamboanga Sibugay.
It’s a place where many people go to learn and make their lives better.
