About JRMSU LandBank Scholarship:
The JRMSU LandBank Scholarship programs provides financial aid and specialized training opportunities to students aiming for academic excellence in Zamboanga del Norte.
It encourages growth in vital fields such as agriculture and engineering, aligning with LANDBANK’s commitment to education and national development.
The scholarship is part of the Iskolar ng LANDBANK Program, themed “600@60”: Developing Scholars and Nurturing Talents Towards Serving the Nation.
This initiative aims to support underprivileged but deserving students who are children or grandchildren of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) or Small Farmers and Fishers (SFFs).
Qualifications:
To be eligible for the JRMSU LandBank Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Residents of Zamboanga del Norte.
- Children or grandchildren of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) or Small Farmers and Fisherfolk (SFFs).
- Minimum average grade of 90% or among the top 10% of their senior high school class.
- Endorsed by their high school principal.
- Not receiving any other financial assistance, grant, or scholarship.
- Annual total family income not exceeding P300,000.00.
Requirements:
Applicants for the JRMSU LandBank Scholarship must submit the following documents:
- Fully accomplished application form:
- Certified true copy of grades with school seal
- Letter of recommendation from the school principal
- Endorsement letter from a LANDBANK agriculture-related client cooperative, association, or organization
- Essays:
- 500-word essay on “Why I am pursuing a career in (course to be taken)?”
- 500-word essay on “How does LANDBANK help in nation-building?”
- PSA/NSO-certified Birth Certificate or Certified True Copy (CTC) issued by the Local Civil Registrar and duly authenticated by the PSA
- Proof of registration to the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) or Certificate from the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) or the Municipal Agrarian Reform Office (MARO)
- Photocopy of recent ITR of parents or BIR Certificate of Tax Exemption or Certificate of Indigency
- Certificate of good moral character from the school’s Office of Student Affairs
- Barangay Clearance from the applicant’s home barangay
Benefits:
Annual Allowance for Allowance and Expenses: P100,000 per year
This allowance covers expenses for books, clothing, and other course requirements.
In addition to the financial support provided, scholars will also benefit from:
- Special cash incentives for graduating with honors

- Horticulture
- Animal Science
- Food Technology
- Agricultural Engineering

- Industrial/Management Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Accounting
- Information Technology
- Data Analytics/Science
Other agriculture-related courses may be considered subject to the deliberation of the Selection Committee.
